EMISSARIES - single
Released: October 3rd 2021
After the single "Wrath of Vultures" (released July 23rd), THE MOOR shakes the underground metal world in its foundations with the announcement of "Emissaries".
The song was composed during the first lockdown and then finalized in the latest months, mixing and mastering took place once again at Studio Fredman by acclaimed producer Fredrik Nordström (Architects, Obscura, In Flames, Soilwork...).
"Who are the Emissaries? They are nothing but the time."
WRATH OF VULTURES - single
Released: July 23rd 2021
The song marks our return after the sophomore release 'Jupiter's Immigrants' and explores the obscure side of our musical influences, both lyrically and musically; I would say that the 'dark progressive metal' label that we gained through our latest release now blends with a more distinguished melodic death metal counterpart.
'Wrath of Vultures' encloses the anger and frustration we felt during the last year and the feeling of rolling up our sleeves, also when everything seems ruined and lost.
The song has been mixed and mastered at Studio Fredman by acclaimed producer Fredrik Nordström, and to complete the combo the artwork is once again a Niklas Sundin's 'Opera'.

THE MOOR was founded in 2010 by vocalist/guitarist Enrico Longhin and guitarist Davide Carraro. The critically acclaimed, Lion Music-issued Year Of The Hunger dropped in 2012, followed by several live shows in the UK, including The Underworld. 2014 saw the release of their single 'The Castaway', featuring Soilwork's Bjorn Speed Strid on vocals.
The band took it to the next level in 2018 and delivered their independently sophomore studio long-player Jupiter's Immigrants (with the addition of guitarist Andrea Livieri) where they defined their metal roots and signature sound, mixed at STUDIO FREDMAN by Fredrik Nordström. The album features important guests as Mikael Stanne from Dark Tranquillity and Niklas Isfeldt from Dream Evil.
The Moor sound explores a mix of progressive metal, electronica, and melodic death metal influences. ‘Wrath of Vultures' single, released July 23rd 2021, marks the return of the band and explores their obscure side in terms of musical influences, both lyrically and musically.
On October 1st, the band releases another song, ‘Emissaries’. Almost 6 minutes of modern progressive metal with dark and melodic death metal influences, that caresses the palate at length leaving behind memories of Nevermore, Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquillity, In Flames.
